A system,<br>not a picture.

A corporate identity is applied hundreds of times a year, mostly by people other than you: a new colleague making a presentation, a printer, a web developer, a stand builder. Without a system, each of those things looks slightly different, and after two years the sense of one brand is gone. A good identity holds the answer to questions you haven't asked yet.

We don't start in Illustrator, but with the positioning. Then we create explorations: each direction with the reasoning behind it and applied straight away. So you don't judge a logo on a white background, but a brand on a package, a façade or a quote. Once a choice is made, we complete the system, test it on the toughest applications and document it.

Not every corporate identity needs to start over. If the positioning still holds and the brand mark has built recognition, a restyle is often the better choice: faster, cheaper, and you don't throw away recognition. We say so when that is the right answer, even if it means a smaller assignment.

Lead time: six to twelve weeks for a complete identity with guidelines, starting from an agreed positioning.

Frequently asked questions

Our logo is still fine. Do we still need anything?

Often, yes, and that’s exactly the point. A brand isn’t the logo but the promise beneath it. A strong logo on unclear positioning means you’re recognisable without people knowing what for.

What does it cost to have a corporate identity designed?

The range in the market is enormous: from a few hundred euros with a freelance designer to forty thousand euros or more with an agency that has a strategic layer. That difference isn’t about drawing quality but about four things: how much strategy lies beneath it, how many applications are actually developed, how deep the guidelines go, and whether someone stays on to guide the rollout.

What determines the budget for a corporate identity?

The strategic groundwork, the number of applications, the guidelines and the support during rollout determine the budget. Photography, printing, font licences and other production costs are agreed separately.

What is the difference between branding and a corporate identity?

A corporate identity is how you look: logo, colours, typography, imagery. Branding is why you look that way: the decision about who you are, for whom, and what you promise. You can create a corporate identity without branding, and it happens regularly. The result is then polished and interchangeable.

What is the difference between a brand and a logo?

A logo is a mark of recognition. A brand is everything people think and expect when they see that mark: the product, the service, the people, the price, the reputation, the way you handle a complaint.

Do we get all the files and rights?

Yes. On delivery and full payment, you receive all source files and full usage rights. Third-party font licences are registered in your name.

Do you work with AI-generated logos?

No. We use AI in research, exploration and production work. But a brand mark a generator can make, anyone can make.
