Who we are
Chapoo Agency (company number BE 1023.337.429) is responsible for the processing of personal data on this website.

What we collect through the contact form
When you send us a message through the contact form, we ask for your name, your email address and your message. We only use those details to answer your question, not for newsletters or marketing.
Your message is stored in a secure database (Supabase) within the European Union (West Europe region, Ireland). We do not store your IP address; we only keep an irreversible hash of it to protect the form against spam and abuse.
Your message is also forwarded to our team by email via Resend.
We keep your message for 12 months.
You are free not to share your details, but without your name and email address we cannot answer your question.
Hosting and services
This website is hosted by Vercel (Frankfurt region, Germany). Vercel processes the technical data your browser sends, such as your IP address, in server logs to keep the site secure and available.
We manage the content of the site in Sanity, a content management system. Only our editors sign in there. Images and videos on the site are delivered through Sanity’s content delivery network (CDN).
We do not share your data with third parties, except when the law requires us to.
This site links to websites run by others. We have no control over those sites and are not responsible for their privacy policies.
Cookies and tracking
We use one cookie of our own, cc_chapoo, to remember your cookie choice. Provider: Chapoo. Retention: six months. After that the site asks for your permission again.
With your permission Vercel Analytics (provider: Vercel Inc.) anonymously measures which pages are visited and where visitors come from. Measurement only starts after your consent and stops when you withdraw it. Vercel Analytics sets no cookies and collects no personal data.
The site’s management environment (for our editors only) uses a technical browser session to stay signed in.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
Your rights
You have the following rights over your personal data:
- You may know why we need your data, what happens to it and how long we keep it.
- You may request access to your data.
- You may have it supplemented, corrected or deleted.
- If you gave consent, you may withdraw it at any time and have your data erased.
- You may have your data transferred in full to another controller.
- You may object to the processing of your data.
