Challenge MC hosts high-end receptions, conferences and fairs. We gave its starry logo a tender red square and a fine halo, built personality centred photography and set up a website that speaks to two audiences directly.
The story behind the work
What was the challenge?
Challenge MC is run by the Devillé family. For over 10 years, they have been building a name hosting high-end receptions, conferences and fairs across the country. We met them at one of the many events we like to attend. CEO Marie Catherine told us the logo no longer supported their status as a hospitality expert. We shared that concern. The starry logo was a given, but it lacked authenticity and resolution to represent their expertise and dedication to superb service. The hosts needed a clear position too. Challenge MC is not looking for girls sensually stroking a car or guys selling shirts without wearing any.
What choices did we make?
We kept the starry logo and gave it authenticity and resolution. We framed it in a tender red square and gently lifted it from the 'business blue' background with a fine halo. That gives Challenge MC a reliable quality seal. For the photography, we zoomed in on personality centred portraits. This communicates the standout positioning to both prospects and candidates. Online, we chose to address the two main target audiences directly: professionals and potential Challengers. That transparency swiftly leads people to the information they are looking for.
What did we create?
We reworked the starry logo into a quality seal: a tender red square on a 'business blue' background, lifted by a fine halo. We shot personality centred portraits of the hosts, so prospects and candidates see who Challenge MC works with. We also built a website that welcomes visitors by speaking directly to professionals and potential Challengers. Each group finds the information it needs quickly. Nothing says 'hello' like a delicately designed halo!
